Southampton vs Tottenham head-to-head record
Spurs boast the superior head-to-head record over the south coast outfit in recent years, winning 14 out of their last 20 meetings with Southampton.
They ran out 5-2 winners at St Mary's last season under Jose Mourinho when Harry Kane assisted each of Son Heung-min's four goals before grabbing Tottenham's fifth of the afternoon himself.
Southampton vs Tottenham score prediction
Whereas previously it was difficult to see where the goals would come from in this Tottenham side, Conte has resolved their lack of punch in attack.
Southampton, in contrast, are saddled with the opposite problem, often competing in matches but being unable to put the opposition to bed with a lack of firepower in attack.
These are the types of games Spurs must win if they are to harbour serious hopes of playing Champions League football next season.
Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Tottenham
