Southampton travel north to Liverpool this week as they look to try and put last weekend's defeat to Norwich behind them and frustrate the title-chasing Merseysiders.
Ralph Hasenhuttl masterminded a victory over Liverpool at St Mary's last season and, prior to facing Norwich, had seen a talented Saints side pick up 10 points from a possible 12.
Here's a look at the starting XI the boss could pick...
Southampton predicted lineup vs Liverpool
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Alex McCarthy (GK) - Has impressively kept five Premier League clean sheets this season, although will have his work cut out for a sixth here.
Tino Livramento (RB) - Leaving Chelsea was the best decision he could have made because it has meant regular Premier League football.
Jan Bednarek (CB) - Has been an automatic starter in Jack Stephens' absence but his place could come under threat in the coming weeks.
Mohammed Salisu (CB) - The 22-year-old has completed 90 minutes in all but one Premier League game this season and is much improved.
Kyle Walker-Peters (LB) - Holding off competition from summer signing Romain Perraud as he tries to make the left-back berth his own.
2. Midfielders
Mohamed Elyounousi (RM) - Has started all but one Premier League game since breaking into the team at the end of August.
Oriol Romeu (CM) - His role in breaking up play and protecting the back four will be so crucial to prevent Liverpool getting into their rhythm.
James Ward-Prowse (CM) - Captains the side and set to start his 200th Premier League game.
Nathan Redmond (LM) - Could be back in the starting lineup after missing the last two games because of a positive COVID-19 test.
3. Forwards
Che Adams (ST) - Scored the consolation against Norwich last time out and has two goals in his last three club appearances.
Adam Armstrong (ST) - A goal and two assists across his last three games will have boosted confidence but chances here will be hard to come by.
