According to reports in tonight's press, Hibs are set to appoint former Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean as Academy Director.
Hibs CEO Ben Kensell has identfied the Scottish coach as the man to lead the club's youth system, as owner Ron Gordon continues to ring the changes at the club.
Kean has plenty experience, as well as managing Blackburn Rovers, he has also been assistant at the likes of Real Sociedad, Fulham and Coventry City.
He has also managed in Brunei, and also had a stint as their national side coach, as well as doing some coaching in Australia and he has also worked with the SFA.
Hibernian-Mad View:
On paper this appointment looks a real positive bit of business for the club.
Kean has managed and coached all around the globe and brings a wealth of experience to the club.
Owner Ron Gordon is making big changes to the club structure, something the fans have been screaming out for, for years.
Let's hope it's a good move for the Hibees.
